I had a 9-hour train ride from Barcelona to Madrid; it was very beautiful. The natural landscape of Spain is quite something. There were also many developed areas, such as villages, farms, orchards, and power plants.

I was in Madrid for 3 days, but I really didn’t do much because I got sick the day I arrived.

I spent a couple of days recovering, then I went on a walk in the area around my Hostel. I stayed very central, so there were lots of cool things to see just within walking distance.

I also went out for tapas with some other travelers, and I met three other Canadians.
